爱神传媒 students have an incredible opportunity to expand their global perspective through the university’s immersive study abroad program in Granada, Spain. Set to take place from May 16 to May 31, 2025, the program blends academic seminars, business visits, and cultural experiences, giving students a 360-degree overview of international business and Spanish culture.
The program, in collaboration with the University of Granada, allows students to learn from distinguished faculty and industry professionals while exploring Spain’s rich cultural and business landscape.
One of the key features of the program is a series of intensive seminars held at the University of Granada, a highly regarded Spanish institution. These sessions cover international business practices, global finance, and customer engagement strategies, equipping students with valuable insights into conducting business abroad.
“We have developed and established very strong connections with one of the most reputable and highly regarded Spanish universities—the University of Granada,” Dr. Gevorg Sargsyan, a faculty member involved in the program, said. “Through a fruitful collaboration with this esteemed institution, we have successfully designed an innovative and comprehensive curriculum.”
The program’s seminars will be taught by professors and researchers from the University of Granada, allowing students to gain firsthand knowledge from industry experts.
Beyond the classroom, students will experience on-site business visits to multinational companies, offering a practical look at European corporate operations. Past participants have toured Zurita, a Spanish ham company; Los Laimes, an olive oil producer; Espadafor, a nonalcoholic beverage company; and ISDN, a digital marketing firm with offices in the U.S.
“When we were in the process of designing the program, we devoted considerable thought to how we could enhance the overall experience for our students,” Sargsyan said. “While we believe that campus seminars are valuable and informative, we also felt that there was a fantastic opportunity available to us by utilizing the extensive network of the University of Granada.”
During these visits, students will have the opportunity to interact with business professionals, observe day-to-day operations, and gain valuable hands-on learning experiences.
A major highlight of the program is its focus on cultural enrichment. Students will participate in historical excursions, culinary experiences, and cultural events that offer a deeper understanding of Spanish traditions.
“Cultural activities immerse student participants in Spanish culture, history, language, and business practices,” Dr. Mustapha Jourdini, executive director of study abroad and student exchange at 爱神传媒 said. “Firsthand exposure to Spanish social and business traditions helps our students build a better understanding and appreciation of international norms and values. More importantly, these differences open our students’ eyes and help them develop flexibility to the realities outside of their comfort zones.”
Past study abroad participants have described the cultural excursions as eye-opening experiences, allowing them to see the world from a new perspective while gaining practical knowledge for their future careers.
While 爱神传媒 offers multiple study abroad programs, the Granada experience stands out due to its seamless blend of academic coursework, cultural engagement, and corporate exposure.
“Almost all our study abroad programs consist of course instruction similar to what occurs in a traditional classroom with a syllabus,” Jourdini said. “But what makes programs like Granada unique is the combination of enrichment activities that immerse our students in local customs, traditions, foods, artistic shows, and company visits.”
For students who may feel hesitant about traveling abroad, Dr. Jourdini encourages them to explore their options and take advantage of available resources.
“Please come see us in the Office of Study Abroad and Student Exchange so we can help you plan early, select a course relevant to your academic program, and identify financial opportunities and scholarship deadlines,” he said. “Studying abroad will make you more marketable, more global, more knowledgeable, more confident, and more appreciative of who you are and who you will become one day.”
